Phases of the Moon
Just for fun I put together a not-so-accurate time lapse of the night.
Blood Moon April, 2014
The clouds rolled out just in time to see the blood moon in it’s fullest, but there was a bit of haze left over, softening this beautiful rock.
Lunar Eclipse April, 2014
Of course after five days of clear skies day and night, the clouds just had to roll in, but watching the light bounce from the moon to the clouds was pretty neat. :)
Full Moon (taken about an hour and a half before the lunar eclipse started)
I had to snap this just in case the clouds rolled in and I wouldn’t see the eclipse at all.
My hubby found this poor little guy struggling to get back in the Columbia River so we helped him find water after snapping a few photos.
Which way is up?
Cedar Creek Grist Mill waterfall
I just can’t stay away from moving water!
Every mill needs a river
Is that Jonathan Livingston Seagull flying there?
Hubby and I went to the beach on Monday to say hi to Jake the Alligator Man. There was a huge police standoff just a few blocks down the road from this awesome place - we were almost run off the road by some undercover cops getting to the scene.
Stoney is all done shedding! He’s much bigger than we got him from the pet store two months ago, but there’s still so much growing to go! My hubby, Cole, was very happy that our beardie was finally ready to come out the tank and chill for a while.
Just what every family needs- a family portrait! And what better of a place than the shores of Yale Lake? Can you spot Mt. St. Helens?
